How do I calculate the roof area of an L-shaped house?
Split the roof into rectangular sections, calculate each separately with its own pitch, then add them together. Our calculator does this automatically — simply add a section for each wing of your L-shaped home and enter its dimensions and pitch.
What waste factor should I use for complex roofs?
